Getting Married.
It is something all little girls dream about, from the fairy tales to the celebrities. Even when all grown up, they are still dreaming about it. What the dress will look like, what the cake will taste like never mind look like and how their hair will be done up.
These are the building blocks of the wedding preparation! even when its the 2nd, 3rd or 5th wedding. Only after years of dreaming and thinking does the real planning start.
They have a ring (in most cases) and are now given the green light to embark on finding their own fairytale. A journey defined only by the budget and the time frame. Setting the date and saving for the most AMAZING day of their lives, a new chapter in their relationship should be high on the agenda and once they set the date, look at a few venues and work out the budget all the finer details can be sorted.
The dress is how the bride will be showcased through out the day. It is how everyone will remember her and when the groom sees her it should galvanise all the decisions that led them to that point, where they are stood in front of all their family and friends, in a church or hotel where they are willing and able to make a commitment to one another.
In recent times wedding planning has become a time of stress with many people struggling in the economic environment finding the perfect wedding on a shoestring budget can be difficult. The stress might be affecting their work and family life along with their health. It used to be that the brides mother and friends where the perfect planning partners. This trend has radically changed in the past few years. With so many brides being of independant means and possibly coming from a divorce, they are taking more of that planning on themselves. If they are working 40 hours a week it limits the amount of quality time they can spend together and could cause more harm than good to their relationship in the long run.
The gaunlet of emotions which are heightened in the run up to the wedding can become to much and we have all heard of the ‘Bridezilla’ By Hiring a wedding planner you can ease some of the stress that is involved, just knowing someone is looking out for you and getting it done the way you want it, is liberating for the couple and they can still enjoy themselves whilst waiting for the wedding day to come around.
Hiring a wedding planner does not need to cost the earth, it should be representative of the time and effort they are putting into your ‘big day’. They are championing your ideals and will try and save you money where they can. Finding the right wedding planner for you is important as are the services they can offer.

Very useful advice – I was particularly intrigued to see you recommend checking out photographers on faceboook, I think a lot of businesses should be aware that we use it to check everything these days!
